The styling is wild and extreme for the Anderson Valley and the Widow's Peak vineyard site sits next to Cakebread’s Annahala Ranch. The remote mystery of this storied coastal ridge and the hand-selected California Heritage Clones Calera, Mt. Eden, and Swan - carefully match clonal variety to the site. The wine is unrefined, unfiltered, barrel-aged in a consummation of Francois Freres and Ermitage French oak for 10 months and built for depth and concentration with nuance developing in maturity.
